LI Kwong Man 2009-04-08	Hua Hin Grand Hotel & Plaza, Hua Hin Town, Petchkasem Rd. The location of the Hotel is quite convenient, Tesco Lotus Market Village at its right, town center/night bazaar at its left and beach is also in the vicinity required 10 minutes of walk only. Staffs were helpful and nice. Plenty of choice in breakfast. Should you like golfing in Hua Hin, almost all main courses were within 30 minutes drive. The Blue Ocean Spa next to the hotel was also a surprise. Price was reasonable but only the interior/furnitures were quite old and old fashioned. Should there be a balcony at the window side, you would able to watch the paramount beachview of Hua Hin while sitting on the balcony. One more thing was that I could sleep well every night.
david franks 2009-03-20	Hua Hin Grand Hotel & Plaza, Hua Hin Town, Petchkasem Rd. Arrived on Thursday for 2 nights at Midday. Room was ready, clean and being on the 14th floor had a good view to the sea about 200 metres away. There is no balcony so could not sit and enjoy the view - pity that. Its a 10 minute walk to the centre of Hua Hin. Have to cross a busy main road. There are tuk tuks that take you there and back if you want - I am told the cost is about 100 baht. The breakfast was great on the Friday as not many people. Good selection of food and nice and relaxing. The Saturday was completely different with it being like a rugby scrum to get the food or even keep your place at a table. They opened up a nasty little room at the back for all the extra people!!! we had breakfast there, but it was an unpleasant experience - OK if you just want to eat for free I suppose!!! The beach is about a 10 minute walk. No real problem, but have to cross that main road again. At night there is a night market next door. Lots of good Thai food. We ate there and it was a nice experience - but not a romantic experience - it was very much eating with the Thais . Mini bar was not expensive. The pool shut down on Friday lunchtime for a conference buffet or something. This hotel has lots of Thai conferences it seems. I speak Thai so liked chatting to the Thai people at this gathering. However, if you are a true tourist then I would avoid this hotel as the conferences take over the whole place it seems - well this conference certainly did when we were there. Parking is available free and its fairly secure - has a guard at the gate anyway. Overall good value and we will stay there again.	Excellent

Espen 2009-01-26	Hua Hin Grand Hotel & Plaza, Hua Hin Town, Petchkasem Rd. Very nice. Within walking distance to city center. Shuttle bus to the beach. Food very nice. Only problem was the compulsory dinner at saturday evening which was expensive and the show was very bad.	Excellent as always.

THIS HOTEL IS TERRIBLE.NO HOT WATER IN AFTERNOON.THEY TURN IT OFF MID-DAY.STAYED IN CORNER ROOM ABOVE OUTDOOR KARAOKE MUSIC FROM EVENING TO 2AM.LUCKY I BROUGHT EAR PLUGS WHICH HELPED.LITTLE CHOICE ON BREAKFAST FOOD.WORST HOTEL I HAVE STAYED IN THAILAND.AVOID THIS HOTEL.	GOOD SERVICE BUT PLEASE FIND BETTER HOTELSGIVES SAWADEE.COM.BAD REPUTATION.
Robert 2008-05-04 until 2008-05-09	Hua Hin Grand Hotel, Hua Hin Town, Petchkasem Rd. Hotel looks great from the outside but is dated, straight out of the sixties and urgently needs renovation. Staff friendly but very limited English. Breakfast was stone cold on 5 out of 5 days although coffee shop has nice Thai food. If you want to shop, dine out, or nightclub, stay elsewhere as tourist spots are a good (sweaty) 10 mins walk away. Not recommended.

Ohm who made all my reservations there
Derek Poole 2008-03-03 until 2008-03-15	Hua Hin Grand Hotel, Hua Hin Town, Petchkasem Rd. The hotel is situated some three minutes stroll to to the town centre and a 7 or 8 minute walk to the night market . There are various outlets for meals and numerous watering holes.If you fancy local shopping and food then go to the night market excellent value for all types of quisine. The Hua Hin Grand fine hotel the staff are very friendly and polite. Breakfast is more than enough to start the day on. The pool attendant Probert one of the most polite and helpful young man you would wish to meet. My only critism is that the decor was a little dated, but apart from that room were spotless and sheets changed every day. I would go back again.	I have used Sawadee several times now and find is very easy to use. The application is simple you get remiders when to pay. I will definately use them again.
r.cronan 2008-01-29 until 2008-02-02	Hua Hin Grand Hotel, Hua Hin Town, Petchkasem Rd. Very good hotel. Easy access to town and beaches. About a good 15 minute walk. Night market right outside hotel. Also Thai boxing stadium very nearby and worth a visit.
